Dave D'Silva

FoUnder, CHAIR, CEO & cto

Dave D'Silva brings over 35 years of leadership in quantum technology, defense innovation, and advanced project management. As the originator of Quantum Reengineering—a DARPA-initiated methodology—Dave experimentally develops and deploys quantum-inspired solutions across defense, finance, energy, and logistics sectors. His work spans engagements with the U.S. Department of Defense, Canadian Defence Department (DND), and Atomic Energy of Canada, including DND classified IP in quantum fusion and DOD defense systems.

Dave's journey began with a defining moment in 1989 at the University of Waterloo where he served as Bill Gates' bodyguard for a day, leading to a pivotal 45-minute meeting that launched his security and securities responsibility of the co-vision of Gates and D'Silva. This encounter catalyzed his Ethical AI Companion (Incivility and Cultural Bullying Management Bully Watch) peace and prosperity socioeconomic technology goals, evolving from Version I (POC) Toronto Stock Exchange/London Stock Exchange ATF/AML pilot, to Version II (MVP) McKinsey PriceMetrix with its $6 trillion institutional finance performance record, and now to Version III (GTM) Energy Cloud City.

Dave's portfolio includes design of defense-grade air-space nuclear VTOL propulsion system, SEAL Team logistics solutions, and record-breaking blockchain architectures. His innovations are recognized under national security protections and have influenced workforce development through initiatives like Quantum Qid Foundation and Energy Cloud City.

Dave is a municipal volunteer of the year. Dave's work extends to youth-focused initiatives, including Sick Kids Hospital TED-Ed events where his Ethical AI extends to empathy healing technologies like the Medical AI Teddy Bear translation system for children's medical needs, ultimately reconnecting humanity with our fundamental nature.

Richard Kern

CO-FOUNDER & CFO

Richard Kern, Co-Founder and Director of Finance & Operations at Quantum Trek, has over 30 years of international business structuring experience.

He has advised 400+ clients across 20+ countries on public and private offerings, mergers, acquisitions, and due diligence.

Richard’s expertise spans renewable energy, AI, and quantum computing applications, guiding Quantum Trek’s global expansion and financial strategy.

He also co-founded Eleatek.com, a charity blockchain initiative, reflecting his commitment to innovation that advances both industry and social impact.

Angelica Sirotin

CO-FOUNDER & Director of Communications

Angelica Sirotin is Co-Founder and Director of Communications at Quantum Trek, leveraging her expertise in strategic communications, emerging technologies, and AI.

She founded Sirotin Intelligence, a private space intel community connecting experts from DARPA, DoD, SpaceX, NASA, and NATO, and leads Sirotin Ventures, providing AI-powered business strategies that enhance enterprise growth and assets under management (recognized as Best Market Research & Benchmarking Specialists 2025 - North America). Her experience includes roles as Product Placement Executive at Angelic Pictures and co-founding Alpine Esports (later acquired) and Shapley Technologies, which is developing the AI-driven gaming platform erdos.

Her accolades include serving on the World Economic Forum's AI Youth Council and receiving awards such as Strategic Business Advisor of the Year (2024), placement among the 10 Most Influential Business Executives (2023), Global AI Ambassador by SwissCognitive (2022), and the National Academy of Future Scientists and Technologists Award of Excellence (2017).

Tony Lawand

CO-FOUNDER & DIRECTOR OF MEDIA

Tony Lawand is Co-Founder and Director of Media Quantum Trek, brings over 35 years of international business development experience across four continents.

Knowledgeable in Spanish, French, Russian, and Arabic, Tony has successfully launched ventures in Russia, South Africa, Europe, and North America across diverse industries including Energy, Development, Travel, and Real Estate.

A pioneering entrepreneur, Tony has focused his expertise on media and emerging technologies.

He currently serves as Producer/Correspondent with One World Media Group and feature journalist covering FinTech, AI, Fashion, Wellness, and Film.

The Quantum Qid Foundation and Academy co-founded by our CEO, nurtures young quantum innovators aged 10+. This initiative transforms quantum concepts into engaging, superhero-themed startup experiences through their Superhero Technology Startup School.

Students participate in impactful projects like the York Region Smart Traffic Light pilot, integrating quantum technology with behavioral science to create community-focused solutions aligned with UN 17 Sustainable Development Goals.

The Foundation serves both as an educational platform and talent pipeline, identifying exceptional candidates for advanced training and future aerospace careers. Students, like co-founding 10-year-old Aaron Wang, develop business proposals for presentation to organizations like the U.S. Space Force.
